What’s it made of? Copper with hand-blown glass inlays, sealed with a protective polyester finish. 

What is Ghalamzani? A traditional Persian hand-engraving art on metal (copper) using small chisels and hammers to carve fine floral/arabesque motifs, each piece is uniquely hand-worked.

How are the glass inlays made and set into the copper? Artisans hand-blow small glass beads/inserts separately, then seat them into pre-formed recesses on the engraved copper and secure them (bezel/setting or jeweler-grade adhesive). They’re not blown directly into copper; glass and copper have different melting points, so this method preserves the metal’s shape and protective finish.

Will it keep its shine? Yes, the polyester coating helps preserve luster and simplifies cleaning.

How do I clean it? Rinse with cool–lukewarm water after use, do not soak, dry immediately with a soft cloth or paper towel, and avoid abrasives/harsh chemicals to protect the polyester coating and hand-blown glass inlays. Not dishwasher-safe.
